What A Success!

I dunno whats with everyone and laksa this 2 3 days. the other day was suppose to get laksa for geri's potluck. but then, makcik laksa didnt open the stall on dat saturday. so, ended up making potato salad for them. this morning i made a trip to the market (pj oldtown market) , then mom's getting stuff to do laksa!? akekekeke. cos dat saturday i went to the market n we bought extra mee laksa in addition to the laksa dat i was planning to buy from the makcik.

so, when we got into the market, mom said "jom try buat laksa" . and i'm feeling .::happy happy joy joy::. cos this is the 1st time my mom is making laksa. of course we are so jahil to make laksa cos we never done it b4. but then mom kept saying "alaaa, senang je, campak2 je awaih2 die" akekekeke. awaih2 means the ingredients we put in the gravy(bunga kantan, daun kesom, unions, asam keping). its the term dat perakian use i guess. i helped with the fishes. boil it, blend it, n throw it into the pot. n the results, check out the pix. sejibik like the makcik laksa at my

everyone was happy. i was happy too. now i can teach geri how to cook laksa. all she needs is a blender. hhmm, maybe for her budday i shud get her a small blender/chopper. hehehe. couldnt wait for jimmy to return home from werk. oh btw, i didnt go to work today. on leave. mom is gonna cook rendang for tmoro's raya haji. so, i haf to 'help' her cook rendang. yest suppose to haf a small gathering. my uncle kene admitted at ward cos of dengue, auntie's car masuk air cos of heavy rain last saturday(batu 3 area flooded gile!). mom call it off.

mom told me to learn how to cook rendang. she said "u haf to learn how to cook rendang, next time easy, takkan everytime raya u wanna make pasta?!?!" :S dats the hardest thing i've ever kena from her man. akekekekeke. i felt like myself tied into the meriam buluh n shoot it out to the sky. weeeeee! ok la. rendang punya pasal, anakanda sanggup belajar ibundaku yang tersayang!
